Cloud storage is all the hype lately, and what used to be an expensive commodity is now breaking through with more free storage than ever. Previously we can look at Dropbox, with provides 2 GB of free storage to start with more data allowance when customers are referred. The next new storage service, very similar to Dropbox is Copy.
Copy gives the user 15 GB of free storage to start, and with my link here, you will start with 20 GB of free storage. But wait, theres more. If you tweet about Copy.com and provide your referral link, you will receive another 2GB of free storage!
Copy is accessible with Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux computers. It is accessible mobile with Apple iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) and Android, with Windows Mobile coming soon.
One of Copy’s big business pull is what they call “Fair Storage for All”. Because Copy and many other cloud storages allow you to share files with others, those files must be stored somewhere. With Copy, those files do not count against your 15+ GB limit. For example if I share a 5GB video with a business partner, his Copy data will not increase by 5GB, only my account reflects this.
In my opinion Copy is a better alternative to Dropbox. What do you think?
