“Wow” that was the first word out of my mouth. I have been using an LG voyager for two years now! The voyager is one of my least favorite phones but, I was locked into a two year contract. I have never owned an internet capable phone so I was very excited to get the BlackBerry.
From “first feel” the BlackBerry 9650 felt lighter than my Voyager, thats because it had no battery,
. When I did get the battery in, it still felt a tad bit lighter. I also noticed that the actual size of the Bold was smaller than I expected, not necessarily a bad thing.
Inside the box you get the usual: documentation, instructions, charger, USB cable and headphones. BlackBerry was nice enough to include a very nice leather holster, I don’t have a case yet so this is perfect. So far I am really liking the Bold 9650, expect a review soon!

I’m so glad you went for the Bold btw and not the curve. A friend got the Curve and had a lot of functionality issues with it. With my Bold I never had an issue – but as I told you on twitter my gaze went towards the iphone. It’s not a bad phone it’s just not as robust as my old Bold was.
I’ll not spoil some of the super cool things you can do with the Bold. I’ll let you discover those.
I’m learning new things every minute!
