I am a developer and I mainly use WordPress for sites and have had never had a website work on iPage. I set up 3 sites with iPage about the same time (all WordPress) and have the same issue with every single one. It is impossible to get it to work consistently and I’m not talking about crashing once every few days, they are literally not working 75% of the time. They have cost me time and money and even if its not WordPress I would never recommend iPage to anyone for anything.

As a side note, they give killer affiliate commissions that is why you see good reviews on them all over the place, because those people are affiliates and are essentially lying so that they can get paid.

I have had nothing but issues since switching to Ipage. Today was the last straw. Cancelling my service with them. Absolutly brutal.

iPage sucks big time. They run PHP 5.2.17, which is fine if you don’t want to use modern PHP functionality. This is unacceptable.

Hi,
As the CEO of ipage i would just like to say my company is a shambles and we do set out to give misleading terms and conditions and also false advertising as a way of getting your monies! im not going to apolgise becuase its my company and you guys have made me super rich but i cant even service my wife as poorly as i service you guys. Im even thinking of changing the name fromo ipage to isuckathosting. thanks.
